I´m a social researcher drawn for creating sustainable social impact and making public policies work. My areas of expertise are impact evaluation and behavioral economics for policy design. I have a broad-ranging international and fieldwork experience working in multi-cultural environments across Latin America and other regions. 

 

I graduated from the Master in Public Affairs program at Princeton University in 2011. I started my career with the Inter-American Development Bank, as a consultant for the Office of Strategic Planning for Development Effectiveness supporting evaluation and policy implementation of the bank´s projects portfolio. For the last 10 years I have advised policy projects in urban development, housing, social protection and water and sanitation programs working together with governments, foundations and international organizations such as the World Bank, UNICEF and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID). I combine strong quantitative skills for rigorous evaluation with effective communication strategies for public and private sector audiences. 

 

More recently, I have ventured as a social entrepreneur co-founding Talk2U a tech-based social start-up that combines storytelling with AI-based chatbots for behavioral change. Currently, I am Executive Director at the Center for Evidence-Based Policymaking at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. I lead policy and development consulting projects, manage grant applications and craft partnerships with a focus on public sector and social impact initiatives. I´m also an Invited Professor at the Master of Public Policy at Universidad de San Andrés. I

Outside of work, you can find me on clay courts, reading books on kindle and learning how to play the keyboard. I am married to Mercedes Werner and I´m a father of two daughters.
